The troop trains possibly carried tank units of the h Mecz Div to the assembly area southwast of Cottbus from which the fall maneuvers of the division started. The shipment of additional units from the Peitz railroad station to the above area appears probable. Since the retux_ of these tank contingents to their winter quarters was reported from Jueterbog after termination of the maneuvers on 28 aid 29 September 1954, it is doubted that the troop trains operated nn 21, Sr.ntamhar a rcl n q l a,te as on 26 and 27 September 1954. observed on the Autobahrrom the triangle southwest of Luebbenau as far as Vetschau, and on the roads parallel to the Autobahn/.
