Information
1. The following; air activity and aircraft were observed at 7,erneuchen
airfield between 21 September and 19 October 1954:
21 and 23 September. There was air activity by I1-284etween 0800
and 1300 and between 2000 and 0030.
24, 25 and 27 September. Individual take-offs were made during the
morning .
1 October. Between 0845 and 0900, 30 to 40 I1-28s took off at
short intervals and practiced format-ion flying; up to 1030.
2 to 19 October. There was little air activity except on 12
and 15 October when more intensive flights were made.
29 September. About 45 I1-28s were estimated to be at the field.
Of this estimate, 40 were counted. 1

2. It was noticed that 12 to 18 railroad tank cars with "dissolving
agents" '::ere emptied daily, and that the empty cars were quickly
returned to the railroad headquarters, while railroad tank cars
with "military goods" from delten were returned within 2 days, . 2
Z On 9 October 8 x 76-mm AA guns were observed in the AA gun
emplacement in the northwestern corner of the field. A large and
a small van-like trailer with a ladder-like mast, braced to the
rear were parked 100 to 150 meters, west of the emplacements.
A fo..,r-cornered basket-like device was fitted in the middle of
the mast and projected beyond the ladder on both sides. 3
4. The following; supply shipmerts arrived at the field by rail between
21 September and 19 October:

-'hernikov was previously mentioned as consignee
of fuel shipments at 'Yerneuchen airfield. The consignee of coal
previously was Dobrovski instead of Jubrovski as mentioned in
the .resent report. The recruits who arrived at ";erneuchen on
13 October were connected with the personnel exchange program.

Information
1. The following air activity and aircraft were observed at 7,erneuchen

Comment. It is assumed that the railroad tank cars with,
military goods from lelten conta ned oil, the drairiin.g of which took
a lone time.
Comment. The AA gun emplacement in the northwestern section
of the field is occupied by 8 x 76-mm AA guns near which 2 model
AAl 11112 sets ;,;ere repeatedly observed. The description of the radar
set indicates that the set was of the same type. An additional
6 x 37-mm AA guns under lean.-to r_)ofs were previously observed
near the AA gun emplacement.
