Comment. The existence o' this branch line has been confirmed. The line 25X1
was built in 1951. A spur track extending to a major military supply installation
is possibly involved.
Comment. For sketch of the installation see Annex.
Comment. Information on the modernization of the Malasz ansloading 25X1
on the Soviet-Polish border was transmitted previously* to some
reports, this transloading point mainly handles coal. The inst is,,
allegedly, equipped with an automatic tipping plant. The daily capacity of the
transloading point is estimated at 10 trains including 5 coal trains.
Comment, The existence of the spur track , the purpose of which is
owu,ras reported previously.
