7. Since early April, an increased number of trains with bauxite has been
dispatched to Schwarzkollm via Ebersbach. Two trains with bauxite are
dispatched from Czechoslovakia to the GDR every day. One of these trains
is dispatched in the morning via Wilthen, Bautzen, Hoyerswerda, the other
one in the afternoon via Loebau, Bautzen?and Hoyerswerda. The trains consist
of 40 to 50 cars with a weight of 1,200 to 1,300 tons. Daly traffic to
Czechoslovakia includes 50 to 70 boxcars with potash for Ozechoslovakia aiit
Hungary and about 100 empty cars for bauxite shipments. 14
Comment. Iron ore deliveries to the Eisenhuettenkombinat Ost (Foundry
Combine East) at Fuerstenberg/Oder which is served by the Ziltendorf
railroad station.
2. I Comment. Resumed grain deliveries via the Frankfurt/Oder border station.
The dispatch of empty cars for grain shipments which started on 18. pril
continued.
Comment. Deliveries from East German hydrogenation plants to the USSR
and return of empty tank cars from the USSR.
4? I (Comment. These cars were probably dispatched for further T-54 or
aircraft shipments.
omment. This shipment is possibly identical with previously reported
shipment of 5 flatcars with load exceeding standard. measurements dispatched
to Neuruppin on 21 April.

Comment. This shipment of iron ore presumably passed through the
GDR en route to Czechoslovakia.

Comment. These shipments were connected with the motor-vehicle 25X1
exchange program.
Qomment. Uranium-ore shipments to the USSR which amount to about
10,000 tons per month.
10. Comment. Deliveries from East German railroad-car factories to the
USSR. The Soviet-gauge wheel sets carried along'will be used on these
cars in the USSR.
11. Comment. Discarded ammunition returned from the ammunition depot at
Walkow to the USSR.
Comment. Shi>ment of T54 tanks which was reported previously.
Comment. Possibly a shipment of fuel containers.
Comment. Resumption of bauxite imports from Hungary which are
directed through Czechoslovakia. The last bauxite shipments were recorded
in November 1954. According to the number of empty cars, sizeable shipments
may further be expected.
