Monitoring the Administration of the Agency's
Personnel Programs
1. Reference your memorandum on this subject dated 18 January
1962.
2. Attached are statements of functions of the five branches
of this division.
3. The primary regulatory references are as follows:
a. Department of Defense Directive No. S-1315.3, dated
5 December 1957, subject: Policies Governing Assignment of
Military Personnel to the Central Intelligence Agency.
b. Secretary of the Navy Instruction No. 001300.8,
dated 1 May 1958, subject: Policies Governing Assignment of
Naval Personnel to the Central Intelligence Agency.
c. Annex "A" to TAB - 6
e. Insofar as the Agency is concerned, the general functions
