"Proposed Procedural Changes Cor:::eerning the Method of Processing Applications for Member- ship in thy.: Career Staff" dated 17 Nay 1955. Before the,discussion started, the members reviewwsd a s+am-1mry of actions by Ex mini. ag Panels and the CIA. Selection Board (see attached). This analysed the 1406 cases handled up to the day of the meeting. Discrusston was held a z., to the advisability of the seven offices of r? cor fvrnishing the Examining Panels information which had not previously been presented to the Heads of the Career Services and/or Heads of the Operratl ng Component. It was felt that a.ny a.nformation furnished by the seven offices of record should be given to the Read of; the Career Service and/or Head of the Operating Component before an individual could be recommended for admittance into the Career Staff.
