The FBIS Editorial Handbook on page A5 states "The introduction, sometimes referred to as a "subslug" may also consist of a short editorial note explaining the limited processing of the item, describing the nature of the broadcast etc." It is the belief of the undersigned that this is the appropriate place to Include such information as to the scope of dissemination, officialism, etc., i.e. (Speech by President Porticos at Havana Peace Rally broadcast by stations throughout the country) tort:44kt I In the case of special programs which are regular features/over commercial stations vglihmsame sponsored by the government, the subslug continues to be the most appropriate place to include such information. In the case of Haiti, Brazil, and Chile, such broadcasts currently exist.
