1. The entire production of nylon yarn at the ThArimger Zeliwolle factory,
amounting to 80,000 kg. per annum, is delivered to the USSR,where it is
used exclusively for making the linings of airplane tires.
2. In January 1947, the Soviet occupation authorities removed the following
personnel from the ThIringer Zeliwoile factory to the USSR:
Chemists: Dr. Klare, Dr. ('tench, Dr. Sauer
Dr. Ludewig
Kngineer: Ing. Baussrnann
Toreman: Schwarzkopf
No other technical personnel has been removed since the end of the war.
3. The above-mentioned personnel is at present employed at a nylon factory
which the Soviets have recently been building at Klin (56?210N, 36?1+31x).
The pilot plant at this factory was completed at the end of 1947. It has
an annual capacity of 80,000 kg. nylon yarn. this
production also is used exclusively for manufacturing tie n ngs of air-

4. Another nylon yarn factory being built at Kiln is expected to be completed
by the end of..1918. Its scheduled capacity is 5,000 kg. nylon yarn per day.
