Port I arkas Port Igarka is.situated on the right bank of the Yenisei River exaa ly at the mouth of the small tributary Igarka. It is 700 kme south of the mouth of the Yenisei. Between Igarka and the sea the river is navigable for all transatlantic vessels. The port is important for the export of wood. There are two sawmills and all the technical installations iiecessary for the loading of wood. b. Port Dudinka: This port also is located on the right bank of the Yenisei ver"ms north of Port Igarka. It is a natural port formed by a bend in the river. It has a wooden quay at which vessels of medium draft can dock. The port is important as a fur trading depot and also because of the existence of nickel mines and probably platinum mines in the vicinity. o. Ust Portz This port also is on the right bank of the Yenisei and is orme y a bend in the river. The port nas a small wooden quay for the use of the colony of the fur trading depot and a factory for preserving fish. Two hundred kiloters north of Ust Port, at Golohildna is a branch of the fur trading depot.. d. The port has a powerful radio station and well-equipped scientific laboratories, It is a station tor syato atio observations. e.. AA,derr.-a: In 1935,4 a port was built in the passage between an island an a coast 4 lar-s west of the mine. This passage is navigable and provides shelter for ships in bad weather.
