I., she airfield, about .Smile north of KOBhi N (24022' E/ a2o12 ?N) ,
thi.te Russian SSR, was about 10,000 f oat square. It was bor-
dered by a field path parallel to the railroad line on the
south, the MINSK-BHEST tar road on the caste and by rrzeadowa
and fields on the north and west.
2. An E -VV concrete runway was in they center of the field Some
canton: ant buildings and tool sheds were on the eastern
edge of the field, but there were no hangars.
3. The field was occupied by 80 to 100 single-engine planes.

and the BREST railroad line, on the xzorthh pest border of
KOBRhN.' many turbojet fiFrhters were stationed at the field
and were test-f1ovn there.
Accordincr to Soviet civilians, most of the turbojet fighters
were transferred to the far east in the surnaer of 1948.
