3 The Ran Kuartg Company made the following shipments by water from TM,acao to
Canton:
15 August: 46 drums of gasoline, 240 drums of coal tar, 120 sets of tires,,
and 60 large Issas of truck parts.
16 August: 70 drums of coal tar, 60 cases of machine parts, 8 cases of
photographic supplies, 450 water pipes, and 260 galvanized iron
sheets.
17 August: 420 drums of coal tar and 400_ sets of tires,
18 August: FO aruns of coal tar, 170 cases of machinery and reutomc;bile parts
60 large cases of bicycle parts, and 40 tons of zinc plates.

4. On 16 August 1951 cargo vessel TA ?VF;I (\, 1 1 ) arrived at M oaao
from the Philippines with 1,000 drums of 2;asoiiuo and motor oils The vessel
anchored near the lighthouse near the entrance to Macao harbor and discharged
tLe drums into junks hired by the Chuang Jung Company, which had purchased the
shipment. The drums were stored ia the Chung Jung Warehouse, awaiting ship-
went to Canton.
Between. 23 and 27 August a total of. 3,000 drums of gasoline was sent to
15. Canton from Shihch'i and a-Crgmoon. The drums were stacked in the lls1. Talun
Railway Station in a northern suburb of Carton awaiting shipment north on
the Canton-hankow Railroad. Another shipment of 5,:000 drums, also to bta sent
to hankorrr, was expected to arrive in Carton soort?
