CIA FINANCIAL SYSTEMS
DESCRIPTION
This course is designed to provide parti-
cipants with an overview of the legal and
managerial requirements for accounting and to
acquaint them with the design, processes, and
capabilities of the computerized Agency Finan-
cial System (AFS) which comprise: the automated
budget system -- The Financial Resources System
(FRS), and the automated accounting system --
The General Accounting System (GAS). Participants
receive basic instruction in the use of computer
terminals to make direct on-line queries of budget
and accounting data from the AFS.
The course is designed for personnel who
are or will be responsible for processing finan-
cial data and for supervisors/managers who have
or will have financial management responsibilities.
