3. During the week, Panel N experienced a gain of 1 technician
with no losses. Panel N is currently 33 technicians over authorized
ceiling. However, this figure includes technicians who are in the
process of leaving Panel MCN, participating in the OJT program,
attending initial EOD training, and serving in assignments other
than Panel MCN. With these categories deleted, Panel MCN is 4
technicians under strength. Panel MCD experienced a gain of 8 and a
loss of 1. The Panel is currently 62 employees over authorized
ceiling. There are 129 EOD students in training, while 20 TCA
personnel are in processing, preparing for their overseas
assignments. Taking into account the non-production status of EOD
students, Panel MCD is currently 85 personnel under strength.

5. Mr. John McMahon, DDCI, presented with 11 the Agency Intelligence Star , 1 August. the awar was
conferred in recognition of outstanding achievements
7. TCA Class 3-84 consisting of 35 students were given a
20-hour operating course in the TERP-IIA system. This is the first
time CS has introduced the system in the program. This first
exposure will allow the individuals to perform the basic operating
functions of the system; only minimal exposure was provided in the
maintenance. CS is reviewing plans to dedicate more time to the
system in future to allow more in-depth training.
8. CS is in receipt of 11 TERP-IIA units that will give us the
capability to increase the throughput of individuals requiring
TERP-IIA training. The units will occupy two rooms, one comcenter
and two units will eventually be moved
9. The Operations Department of CS had seven instructors TDY in
the foreign network, one instructor is TDY for non-training
requirement, and one instructor is TDY for a domestic training
session.

11. On 16 August, CS representatives and
joined the Interdirectorate Computer-Based Training
tuBi) Group, where the information-sharing of all the individuals
concerned was effective and appreciative. The Group will generate
an occasional newsletter outlining items of mutual interests.
