urine. The report is considered important because the majority of authors consider
Marie-Strtlmpell disease as a separate entity, not identical with vertebral chrunic C
progressive polyarthritis,

.ABSTRACT: The construction of a calarimc>tr~ic as:~c~rnbl.y suitable as f~u.ridanx~ntal
:Laboratory equipment for activity standardization measurements of 'Y sources is
described. The twin isothermal calorimeter with lead absorbing bodies is suspended
;in a thermostating oil bath and continuously evacuated. 'Thermistars are used as
temperature sensitive elemonts. A relatively simple method of measurement and
:results of electric power calibration are presented. The sensitivity of calorimeter
is 7�~+2(l0)_2 deg per milliwatt. The verification measurements of UCo sample
activities have proved that theb$ew reported modification of isothermal calorimeter
allows measuring activities of Co from 20 mC and with accuracy up to 1 per cent.
