TITLE; The Control of.Cutouts in Voltage Circuits (Kontroll

ABSTRACT: The author states that the existing control systems
of cutouts using filters with zero sequence currents
have one essential disadvantage, namely, they act when
the fuses burn out as well as when a ground fault ap-
pears in the 6-35 kilovolt networks, with an unground-
ed neutral. In order to eliminate this disadvantage,
the author recommends application of the control sys-
tem, designed by himself, for voltage transformers in
6-35 kilovolt networks. The system consists of two
filters with 3 capacitors each, and a signaling relay.
One of the filters is placed before the cutouts and
the other behind them. To increase the sensitivity of
Card 1/2 the signaling relay - a 2 Ohm resistor is connected

in series with each line. The capacity of the capaci-'
tors are 4-6 microfarads; the relay is ET-523/01 type.
The system has been in operation on 6 power transmis-
sion lines for over one year wi,thout any defects.

forces of magnetic and gas kinetic pressures. This equation was dcrived an the
assumption that the plasma is a monatomic gas with an adiabatic index of 5/3. The
equations are rewritten in terms of dimensionless quantities. The equations were
solved on a computer for appropriate initial conditions and for a number of values
of several of the five dimensionless parameters that characterize the plasma gun.
Some of the solutions are presentea graphically. The entire calculation was re-
peated with an approximate expression proposed by A.K.Musin (Radiatekhnika i
elektronika, 7, 3, 547, 1962) for the circuit inductance as a function of the posi-
tion ari radius of tne plasma cylinder. The two calculatiom gave very similar
results. The solutions are discussed and approximate ranges of the parameters are
found within which pulsations occur. The plasma gun is most efficient under such
that the plasma cylinder expands without pulsating, and as much as 80%
