TITLE: Widening the passband of parametric amplifiers with the
'help of coupled ctrcuits

TEXT: The relatively narrow frequency pass~and of tuned
parametric amplifiers is not a fundamental def&ciency and can be
overcome by the use of coupled tuned circuits. This article
investigates the possibility of widening.the passband by tw o
coupled circuits. The amplifier is represented as two identical
coupled circuits tuned to the same frequency wof but the capacity
of one circuit is varied at a freq`uency wH =.2w0. The
differential equations for such a driven oscillatory circuit may
