Measurements showed that the critical temperature of 7,7K did not change with the addition of other layers from the critical temperature of the fi~^st layer of Be. The increase in critical temperature in films made with t;"Ie joint evaporation of Be and zinc etioporphyrin is ascribed to the appearance of thE~ electron-electron mechanism of superconductivity, and it is also hypothesized th~it a layer consisting of small crystals of Be separated by ~n-ep has a high transition temperature as a result of three-dimensional quantization of electrons in Be crystals, To chF~ck the validity of this h othesis erperime. ducted in which joint evaporation of Be and KC1 was carried out. The~rPSUltson show that in this case the layers obtained by joint evaporation have high critical temperatures which are independent of the thickness of t':e layer, These layers also do not have a rr.t-ical thickness, and superconductivity was maintained in thF~m up to a thickness of r~~1G00 ~. It was also noted that these lavers rFinain su;..cr- conducting even after heating up to a temperature close to room te,:,perature. 2~2 APPROVED FOR RELEASE. 06/23/11 CIA-RDP86-005138002065900016-6 ..r USSR o ems Amy o ~~ ~ IPPOV~C~i, E. ; . , Institute of P};ysical ~ ..ciences USSR "Superconductivi ty of Beryllium rilrns Evaporated Together tti'ith zinc F;tioporphyrin" }I'~O$COw, P1S'^,,a V Z~;jy~+nG; Eksperimental `no~/ i Teoretichesfcr ~~~'t:l ~ ~'Cl. ~ ~ 'vp~ ~ 5 Mar 71, gp 247-250 - ~ ~ - , Abstract: The critical temperature of beryllium films eva^orated t ~ ~- zinc etioporp};yrin (Zn-gip) on a substrate kept at ].iqui.d }~c].iurn t~~,m},~eratur;,W4ah investigated. Magnetic measurements were performed t.o determine the Curie temperature (Tc) and mean magnetic moments of the al.ln~~s. It is found that the dependence of To on the Co content in 1'd is in good agreement with the theoretical predictions. Investigations of tiie Pihssbaucr effect show that the effective magnetic field at the nuclei of impurity ator.Ls of tin increases monotonically with an increase of the Co concentration in the alloys and reaches 9 + 1 koersteds for a sample with the highest Co concentration (S at.%) . Apr 73, pp 1057-105 Abstract: Previous studies have shown that at low concentrations of Co in }'d the effective magnetic field on the nuclei of Co atoms is pusitiv~~, althc~u~;h it is negative in pure Co, and that in areas of lost Co concentration in ~'d the effective field on the Sn nuclei increases with increasing Co concentra- tion, while that on the Co nuclei decreases. This study covers the sign of the effective magnetic f:teld on Sn nuclei itt areas of low Co cc~ncenti'at:iun where exchange interactions among the 3d-atoms are absent. It was found that the magnetization at saturation was directly proportional to tiie Co concen- tration and that the extc~rna]. field strength at w}1~ch saturation occurred was always greater than the corresponding effective magnetic field in the nuclei of the tin atoms in the absence ai an external fie]_d, so that the standard method of determining the sign of tl-e shonCanc~ous field by ~3pplying a saturating field could lead to an error.
