Sthyl(Phenyl)ditt-,iophosphonous Acid"
Leningrad, Zhurnal Obshchey Khimii, Vol 43 (105). No 8, Aug 73, pp 1701-1705
Abstract: The study included reactions of notmal, ani!l branched -alkyl haUdes
v1th dipropyl esters of ethyl- and phenyldithitip~to,-~,~'4igxta.:m mcid:s. The nurmal
alkyl halides react much faster in this reactiov thui the lbranched alltyl
reagents. The reaction can be described by thii aquwtlon Rl'(SC3H7)2 +
R*Br - RR'P(S)(SC3H7) + RR2P(S) + RP(O)(SC3117)2 +
CP,Br + R'S"3117
as supported by NMR 31? data. It was shown that chaltging from normal alkyl
halides to the branched isomers increases the tenderuy of Rhis reactic-ii to
occur via the sulfur atom rather than through the phosphorus atom.

Tnuislation: It is proposed that dissociatine gases be usat-11 ai; t]-c litsat trars-
fer agents and work'Ing mediums of power plants. 11"he chiu-amlexistic features
and advantages of these gases over other heat exchanee %gen;s already r,,,istered
are studied. Some developments of power plants vith Ufferont beal. conversion
schemes are presented.
