ABSTRACT: The development of the turbulent boundary Layer i,in the initial
sector of a pipe with rough ivalls is studied within Lhe framework of 13k)uIldary
layer theory. It is demonstrated that consideration of rool, hnoss can be
performed by introducing a function to the "standard" rule cif friction, coll-
sidering this factor. The experintmtol: study was perfarried. on all expel-imental
pipe sector with natural roughness, the, relative vaWO: of iihich is io--~. 111C
range of Reynolds numbers was 5.1.104_3,4-105.

Moscow, Kristallograftya, Vol 18, No 3. M4y/Jun 73, pp C35-63Y
Abstract: The paper describes a method of growing larp pertect crystals
Of Cu20 to study bright narrow luminescence lines of mcutabinut-Lon of free
excitons. A polycrystal like specluen oi CU20 is treatefd, by Imme Melting
vith an electron beam. The resultant specimen usu4illy oviisfills of 2-3
crystals. A single crystal is grown, using one of thmve, ,cryfl:&Is as a
seed. The result is a transparent cylindrical rod up to :10 riaj In diameter
and 100 mm long. 7hese larga crystalts can be used to study toliny new

towards tin and cobalt. Conditious have been. studied for the formation of
tin and cobalt metallopolymQrs startin8 from the bar-lojin saIrs of sillcqn-

metallopolymers obtained have been evaluated. Une d4tt;a obtuiiied in&4:ated

the metallic particles are isolated frop each other by a Mm of the barium
