CONTRACTS & AUDIT STAFF
1. Effective 3 March 1969, a Contracts and Audit Staff was
established for the Office of Research and Development to provide con-
tract negotiations, industrial contract audit, and industrial security
support for ORD.
2. The team will operate as a staff function for the Director/ORD
and is authorized to negotiate, execute, administer and settle ORD
contracts for research, development, and engineering services and for
prototype or first follow-on production units, which may fall into the
categories of tasks covered by ORD.
3. There will be no change in the current approval levels nor
routing of bluebooks except that, where previously routed to Director
of Logistics, they shall now be routed to Contracting Officer/ORD.
