:X. On 5 October l947eit meeting was held in Berlin between the Vice Lord Maycr
of Berlin, Dr. NriedensIbum and Professor Dr. Geller, former Hesse 4ielett-
President. The latter suggested that a manifesto be hafted petitioning the
London Conference of Nereign Ministers to establish a Central German Goverm-
meat. The manifesto would be signed by twenty-five to thirty %ram pereau-
alities from all zone e and of all political shades.
2. The same suggestion ie e made to the President of the Bremen Senate, Nelsen,
and Bavarian Mlnisterfleresident, Dr. Rhard, both of whom favor the projer!1,

The Berlin conference, which Geller and other personalities are slated te

Alfred Weber of Heidelberg hopes to meet in Berlin in early November
