2. BULGARIA:
A. AMERICAN PERSONNEL IN SOFIA WERE UNHARMED DURING
YESTERDAY'S DEMONSTRATION OUTSIDE THE US LEGATION ALTHOUGH
TWO EMBASSY OFFICIALS WERE MOLESTED. NO ATTEMPT WAS MADE
TO PENETRATE THE BUILDING.
B. THE DAMAGE CONSISTS OF FOUR PRIVATE CARS OVERTURNED
AND ALMOST ALL LEGATION WINDOWS BROKEN ON THE FIRST THREE
FLOORS.
C. THE FOREIGN MINISTER DELAYED ALMOST SIX HOURS IN
ARRANGING AN APPOINTMENT FOR OUR CHARGE TO DELIVER HIS PRO?
TEST.
D. HOWEVER THE BULGARIAN REPLY TO OUR PROTEST CONTAINS
AN ASSURANCE THAT THE AUTHORITIES "WILL ALLOW NO FURTHER
ACTIONS OF SIMILAR CHARACTER."
3. SOUTH VIETNAM:
A. THE CONTENTS OF A LARGE VIET CONG SUPPLY DEPOT CAP-
TURED THIS WEEK PROVIDE FURTHER EVIDENCE THAT EXTERNAL SUP?.
