Under the Freedom of Information Act, S US.C. subsection 552, I am
requesting copies of all records on, about, or concerning the population of
Papua. Papua is the province of Indonesia which was previously named Irian
Jaya. Limit responsive records to those created between January 1, 2001 and
the date this request is processed.
Responsive records should include any record mentioning the overall
population estimate of the country and any record mentioning the population
of any subculture, tribe, or region within Papua.
This is a news media request, please charge fees according to the news media
fee category. I authorize up to $30 in fees.
If you deny all or any part of this request, please cite each specific
exemption you think justifies your refusal to release the information and
notify me of appeal procedures available under the law.
Records are preferred in electronic format. Email is preferred CD is also
acceptable. Paper is only requested in a case where doing so would reduce
my fee.
