Describe the target structure: identify and describe the entrances to the structure. RESPONSE: The structure is a long, rectangular one-story building with a pitched roof. Its dimensions are approximately 60-7Oft X 30-40 ft. The structure is built of wood and metal. On one end of the structure are a set of heavy double doors. On the side of the structure near the opposite end is a 3 foot metal door. There was an impression that the structure had no windows. 2. Describe the contents of the "containers in the structure". RESPONSE: The containers are white and smooth. Inside the containers are rows of stacked long, smooth, rounded/cylindrical objects. The containers have partitions to facilitate the rows and stacks. Associated with the objects are the concepts of "explosive" and "works by mechanical ignition." 3. Describe the personnel who control the structure: who stays/works there? Who comes and goes? RESPONSE: The people who work in the structure are a group of dark haired, dark skinned men (ages between 25-40). Their dress is casual: untucked, light colored short sleeve shirts and tan, cotton pants. The men have no more than high school educations but have been trained in specific, skilled tasks. They are skilled at what they do. 4. Describe the interior of the target structure. RESPONSE: Inside the structure is partitioned into areas (see sketch). One of the rooms has high, rectangular (6 ft x 2.5 ft) built-in tables/counters with matte, black, hard tops. Another has heavy, wood built-in shelving along the walls. In another room is a large, metal sink is part of a long, metal counter. The structure has a primitive, hastily dug basement that smells of dirt. 5. There was an impression that the activity at this location is illegal.
