SUBJECT: (U) Establishment of Flexible Work Centers at the CIA
Flexible Work Centers (FWC) at `"??ly"a~CU
as a means to enhance
workplace effectiveness. Specifically, this pilot program is
intended to increase the opportunities for CIA staff employees
to perform official duties and functions at alternate locations
as well as facilitate a more rapid/efficient response to mission
requirements. Agency staff employees will have the option of
using these Centers on an "ad hoc" or "hot desk" basis as
temporary alternative to their usual work location to fulfill
their job related responsibilities. A key benefit in
establishing these Centers is to provide supervisors, managers,
and employees with maximum flexibility for temporary work at an
alternate location. During the pilot period, the Agency will
closely monitor FWC use and refine site-specific procedures and
processes as required.
2. (U) The FWCs are open 24 hours, seven days a week and
