Atlantic Menhaden (Brevoortia tyrannus), a commercially important Atlantic Ocean fish, also known as Fatback, Bunker, Pogie, Mossback; weight – up to .5 kg (1 lb) at maturity; length – up to approx. 38 cm (15 in); lifespan – up to 10 to 12 years.
