Crimson Jobfish (Pristipomoides filamentosus), also known as Opakapaka, Hawaiian Pink Snapper; weight – about 9 kg (20 lb); length – .9 m (3 ft); lifespan – 13 years. Crimson Jobfish or Opakapaka is a species of snapper fish found throughout the tropical Pacific Ocean, including American Samoa, Guam, Hawaii, and the Northern Mariana Islands. Crimson Jobfish have skin that is slightly brown with some brighter colors when caught over hard bottoms. They feed on shrimp, squids, and small fishes.
